Ramadan Mubarak!

First of all, let us extend our greetings for the observance of fasting to all Muslims around the world. Fasting is one of the most special acts of worship in Islam. This worship is proof of our patience, piety, and faith in Allah SWT.

Fasting during the month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam that must be performed by every Muslim who has reached puberty and is of sound mind. During Ramadan, Muslims around the world refrain from hunger, thirst, and all other worldly desires, from dawn until sunset. Besides refraining from eating and drinking, we are also expected to increase good deeds, such as reciting the Qur’an, performing tarawih prayers, and giving alms.

Fasting is also a good time to improve relationships with others, train patience, and strengthen faith and piety toward Allah SWT. When we fast, we can reflect on how great Allah SWT's love for us is. In every pang of hunger and thirst we feel, we remember that many people still live in far greater deprivation and hardship.

Fasting is also a good time to share and help one another. We can use this additional time to help those in need, make donations, and strengthen ties with family and friends.

In closing,

As Ramadan is just around the corner, BTE Jakarta Campus would like to wish you a fruitful month full of blessings and happiness. It is a time for reflection, spiritual growth and charity giving. This month teaches self-control and compassion for others and strengthens our bonds with family, friends, and colleagues. May Allah always showers us with His blessings and empower us with courage and patience for a successful tomorrow. Once again, we wish you and your families a blessed Ramadan.

Thank you & stay safe.

Best Wishes,
